Meeting info

We have added new tour opportunities to the Pacer Spirit points book. Please come by the office to check it out.

If you have over 50 points for the fall semester you will receive your semester points prize. It will be available for pick up in the office on Friday, Jan. 26th.

The Pacer Spirit Back to School Party will be held on Friday, Feb. 2nd at the Augusta Rollerrink from 5 to 7pm. We will depart USC Aiken at 4:30 pm.

Aiken Guidance Counselor Breakfast

• We need 2 or 3 Pacer Spirit members to do an optional tour for the high school guidance counselors who will be visiting USC Aiken on Wednesday, October 4th at 9 am in the Eth. Center Lobby. Uniform required. Any takers?

Pacer Spirit Training

Hey gang,

It's time for Pacer Spirit training. We will begin on Friday, August 25 at 3 p.m. and Saturday, August 26 at 8:45 a.m. I hope you are excited because we have a jam packed agenda for you. We will be conducting the following sessions:
-"Pacer Spirit: from an admissions perspective
- "I'm Southern so likes me sum Grits."
- "Pacer Spirit: It's not just a blue shirt."
- "Communication with students and parents on tour"
- a new game, "Capture the Pacer"

We look forward to seeing you on Friday in Pacer Commons 4C.

Parent Tours during Orientation

Believe it or not, it's time for Freshman Orientation.

We need some Pacer Spirit to do the tours offered at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18th as part of the Orientation Program. You will need to meet us in the Etherredge Center Lobby a few minutes before 5 on that day.

I know that many of you are involved with Orientation as Pacesetters, but by this point in the day, you should be able to conduct tours.

We need as many of you as possible, so this is one exceptional instance where we will pay you for your time! Please let me know ASAP if you will be able to do this.

Claflin Upward Bound Campus Tour

Hey gang,
We need all the help we can get with this one! Claflin University Upward Bound program will be coming to tour USC Aiken on Thursday, July 20th from 9 - 10:30 am. They will be bringing over 150 students!!! If you are available please let me know.
FYI: This is the same morning of the last day of Orientation. If you are a Pacesetter then you will not be able to participate.

Pacer Spirit Members,
We have had a few people request tour training so that they can earn points for the upcoming Second Saturday program and other tour opportunities throughout the summer. Please reply to the post if you plan on attending one of the quick 45 minute (the most) tour training sessions.
* This does not make you exempt the required tour training for all Pacer Spirit members Aug. 25-26.

The purpose of this blog is for Pacer Spirit members to check the site for the latest tour opportunities that Kathy and I receive in the Office of Admissions.
